Why I started Cambridge Science Coaching
Science changed how I see the world — and I want to give every student the chance to feel that too. Too often, young people write off science as 'not for them' before they've had the chance to really engage with it. That's what Cambridge Science Coaching is here to change.
I started tutoring because I noticed a gap between how science is taught in busy classrooms and what students actually need to understand it deeply. One-to-one sessions allow me to slow down, ask the right questions, and meet each student exactly where they are.

How I teach
Every student is different. My job is to work out how your child thinks — and then find the explanation that makes things click for them.
Understanding over memorisation
Exams reward students who understand the underlying logic, not just those who've memorised facts. I focus on building that understanding from the ground up.
Patience and no judgement
There are no silly questions in my sessions. I create a space where students feel safe to say 'I don't get it' — because that's where the real learning starts.

I work with your child's actual school topics and exam board, so every session is directly relevant to what they're being assessed on.
